BACHELOR OF SOCIAL SCIENCE IN ECONOMICS WITH HONOURS

  • OVERVIEW

This program is offered to produce graduates with expertise in the field of economics and to meet the nation's employment needs in various related areas.

The program is designed to provide a solid foundation in economic knowledge and theory while enhancing students' critical and analytical skills, aligning with similar programs offered both domestically and internationally.

The introduction of three new courses - Digital Economics, Global Economics, and Introductory Econometrics - will contribute to the strength of the Economics program. These new courses, which incorporate elements of economic development, social issues, and the global environment, will equip students with the necessary knowledge to develop frameworks for development programs, critically analyse issues, and find solutions to economic and social problems.
