Student Academic Support (SAS) is established to offer academic and non-academic support to School of Distance Education students. It intends to deliver wholesome support to students from the beginning of their learning journey to their graduation. SAS support includes Student Academic Management, Educational Resources, Personal and Technical Support. The support is accessible through the Student Academic Support platform in the SDE e-Learning portal. On this platform, students can find information that can assist in their academic management, access educational resources that will benefit their academic learning, academic and counselling support information and technical support and information to aid and ease their online learning journey. At times, SAS's support extends beyond the platform. The unit will organise live academic support webinars and non-academic webinars such as motivational and counselling webinars. The SAS is also open to the students' suggestions to continuously improve the support. Students can do so anytime through the SAS platform feedback system.
